Our annual luncheon is a chance to hear our clients’ success stories and perspectives from respected stakeholders. This year we had the opportunity to gather 120 people to share how Migrant Legal Aid advocates for migrant farmworkers. MLA is forever grateful with the attendees and sponsors who made this event possible. With the donations, MLA will provide support to the migrant farmworker community through 2026.
Your sponsorship will defend 5 families against acts of hate or harassment and provide 5 presentations to law enforcement and judiciary staff for cultural competency training.
Your sponsorship will provide life-changing legalization and work permits for 5 migrant families who have been victims of crime or human trafficking, and counsel 50 families on their right to legalize.
Your sponsorship will provide 50 housing related referrals to the State of Michigan for dangerous conditions at migrant labor sites.
