Guatemalan farmworkers win trafficking trial against Michigan Company

Five Guatemalan workers claim Purpose Point Harvesting LLC coerced them into working long hours in Michigan fields by confiscating their passports, underpaying them and threatening them with retaliation from 2017 to 2019. They also allege the Oceana County contractor charged them illegal recruitment fees and controlled their bank accounts.
